Special Project Grant

Helping churches pursue new evangelistic opportunities

The Special Projects Grant provides funding to help churches pursue new evangelistic opportunities that would not otherwise be possible. It is intended for small-scale capital projects, such as purchasing equipment or supporting one-off initiatives that contribute to sustainable gospel outreach.

Grants are typically up to £6,000 and are available to churches with lower incomes that can demonstrate both need and a willingness to contribute their own resources. Funding is restricted to capital expenditure and cannot be used for ongoing running costs.

Applicants must share a Particular Baptist theological basis, provide up-to-date financial accounts, and demonstrate appropriate safeguarding practices. Each application must also be supported by references and show how the project fits within the church’s wider evangelistic strategy.

This grant aims to enable churches to take practical steps in reaching their communities, helping to turn gospel vision into reality.

All grants are subject to the availability of funds. While every application is carefully considered, not all can be approved. As a matter of policy, feedback is not normally provided on unsuccessful applications
